Fuel E10
In all BMW gasoline models of all years of construction, the use of E10 fuel is safe. Under E10 refers to gasoline in a proportion of up to ten percent bioethanol.
With BMW cars, which were approved before 1990, can be refueled in principle also E10 fuel. In these vehicles, however, the minimum required octane according to the manual must be observed and complied with, because some older BMW vehicles require Super Plus RON 98 because of its increased knock resistance. The E10 fuel is however currently only offered with RON 95.
